Modelling Services
Overview
Our EASE modelling service optimise your loudspeaker selection, placement and mounting angles for optimised coverage and speech intelligibility.

​Our modelling can predict coverage and STI results for your design for any number of speaker brands and models.
​We can import your room design from CAD or we can create a model of your room manually within EASE.

Our Modelling Process

We engage with you to determine your objectives, constraints, coverage areas and budget

We develop a 3D model of your room with coverage areas defined
-
We place the chosen loudspeakers into the model and aim them at the desired locations

We run modelling simulations and optimise speaker placement & aiming to achieve the coverage objectives

We prepare a detailed report listing the speaker mounting positions in space and the mounting angles and rotation
-
We can optionally measure STI and ACU (Acoustic Coverage Uniformity) on-site once the loudspeaker solution in installed and commissioned to validate the design, speaker placement and final commissioned performance
Modelling Reports
Our modelling reports provide the following minimum details:

Details of the room, surface materials and loudspeaker models modelled

Model plan views of the defined audience coverage areas

Loudspeaker placement details including X/Y and height, angles and rotations

Model plans as elevation drawings

Model plans as 3D views of speaker positions with aiming lines indicated

Heat map diagrams indicating coverage in SPL

Bar graphs indicating coverage distribution in SPL

Heat map diagrams indicating speech intelligibility (STI)
